Alleppey Local Loop

Stays close to Alleppey and loops through the canal network around Punnamada Lake. Good for guests who want a relaxed, unhurried cruise without crossing the open lake.

Alleppey to Kumarakom

The most asked-for route. Crosses the open Vembanad Lake and passes the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary belt. On a clear day the views from the upper deck stretch for miles.

Extended Backwater Loop

A longer stretch that adds Thottapalli and Nedumudi to the route. More rural, quieter stretches of water, and a stronger sense of being completely away from everything.

What is the difference between premium and deluxe?

The main differences are the AC hours, the interiors, and the food spread. Deluxe gives you AC only at night. Premium runs it all day. The food menu is wider on premium boats and dessert comes with dinner.

Is the upper deck available on all premium boats?

Most premium houseboats in Alleppey have an upper deck but not all of them do. When you contact us to book, let us know you want an upper deck boat and we will make sure to confirm one for you before the booking is finalised.

Can I do a day cruise instead of overnight?

Yes. If you do not want to stay overnight, a day cruise runs from around 11 am to 5 pm. You get the cruise and meals but not the overnight stay. The premium day cruise also gives you all-day AC and the full food spread during the trip.

Can the food menu be changed?

Yes. If you have dietary preferences or allergies, just let us know when booking. We can adjust the menu for vegetarian, Jain, or specific food preferences as long as you inform us before the trip starts. Nothing can be changed once the boat sets off.
