You get to the houseboat and the crew helps you settle in. They'll hand you a welcome drink.
The boat leaves the dock and heads into the narrow canals. After a bit, it opens up to wider water. Villages and green fields on both sides.
The cook serves lunch. Kerala food, made fresh on the boat.
The boat keeps going. Have a nap, read, sit on the deck.
